Developed in Kerala and lauded by the world, Kalaripayattu finds its rightful practitioners at CVN Kalari Sangam in Kozhikode.
Founded by K. Narayanan Gurukkal, CVN Kalari has won international fame and is the face of Kalaripayattu in Kerala. Narayanan Gurukkal who learnt Kalaripayattu and Marmachikilsa from his ancestors, imparted that traditional wisdom to hundreds and thousands of his disciples. CVN Kalari offers customized training programmes to those who wish to practise it for good health, to improve body flexibility and even as a tool for self-defence.
The Kalari also provides conventional medical procedures that are associated with Kalaripayattu like Marmachikilsa, Massages and so on. The medicines and oil for the same are prepared in the Kalari itself. Special training programmes are also offered to foreign students, some of whom have even opened up their own centres in their respective countries.
