Arippara is an eight-level waterfall that also includes Sullukallu, Vattakkuzhi, Nirannapara, Olichuchaattom, Shwasakkuzhi and Neelakkayathadaakam. It is the serene Iruvanji River that forms into the waterfall. Located about 15 km away from the town of Thiruvambady in Kozhikode, Arippara Falls is most impressive during the monsoon season in Kerala. The terrain surrounding the waterfall is predominantly rocky.
There are natural pools around this area that makes it ideal for bathing and swimming. What Arippara offers is a calm ambience filled with lush greenery that will win the heart of all nature enthusiasts.
